Pipe Fitter / Plumber

In this very amicable setting, in the middle of the Mediterranean, our client, a leading operator in the Building & Engineering Services' Industry, specializes in mechanical and electrical contracting, HVAC solutions, lifts and escalators, industrial products and facilities' management. Here, however, we are looking at employing candidates for work on pipe work installation on various projects, including on high rise buildings.

Three categories of employment are sought: Helpers (gross 12,300 EUR/annum), Tradesmen (15,000-17,000 EUR/annum) and Technicians (18,000-22,000 EUR/annum). COVI D-wise, the usual 72 hrs test not older prior to flying out there, cleared to work upon arrival – also important Malta is not in lock down but working full speed!

Your duties & responsibilities:

• Installation of small - and large diameter plumbing pipe-work of various materials.
• PPR and HDPE fusion welding types of pipe-work installations.
• Galvanised or black steel pipe-work installations using quick coupling.
• Victaulic and thread pipe-work.

Preferably you possess:

• Previous work experience on mechanical installations i Services sector.
• Understanding technical drawings.
• A proactive approach and focused, able to plan, organize and communicate well - English is key!
• As the team player you are able to work in a changing & challenging environment.
• Have personal drive, able to work on your own, not remaining idle.
• The employment lasts a year to start with, we discuss when you wish go home and have a break, food-& travel allowances weekly, shared accommodation or own, work clothes and equipment provided, advance on salary upon arrival and further can be arranged, same with flight arrangements.
• EU citizenship. Valid passport min. 8 months left!
