Product Manager

This role sits within the Merchant Risk Monitoring team in our Merchant Operations Group. The team is responsible for the core systems that manage our in-life merchant risk management. These systems ensure that we meet our compliance obligations and stay within our risk appetite as a business.

• Work closely with engineers to drive product improvements that strengthen our controls whilst continuing to provide a good customer experience.
• Collaborate with teams across the organisation to ensure our capabilities scale with the needs of both customers and the business.
• Deliver customer and business value by understanding and solving customer problems.
• Take complex and ambiguous product problems and structure these effectively, including defining the problem space, impact, and prioritisation.
• Use quantitative and qualitative evidence to support decisions and opportunity identification.
• Contribute to Product Strategy by identifying key customer segments and approaches to meet their needs over the longer term.
• Build collaborative relationships with team, stakeholders, and executives to deliver change effectively.
• Set direction and coordinate action across a range of teams and functions.
• Support changes to completion, delivering consistent positive impact across the product area, including MVP experiments and new features.

• Focused on delivering business value through experimentation and have experience of doing that.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with a customer centric approach and comfort with qualitative and quantitative analysis.
