Requirements
Prepare and serve food and beverage items to hotel guests, creating an engaging, long-lasting and memorable experience while being professional, informative, friendly and efficient.
Essential Functions
1. Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guest including wine presentation.
2. Answer questions on menu and use suggestive upselling techniques.
3. Complete inventory for mini bar products, service mini bar, charge guest’s rooms for products used
4. Check expirations dates of mini bar items, rotate products, deep clean refrigerator, maintain Private Bar reports, dust and polish: shelving, cabinets
5. Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests to kitchen team.
6. Prepare and setup trays and tables for effective service according to service standards.
7. Deep clean tables including legs, feet and entire table. Clean check presenters.
8. Complete running side work duties through shift, including polishing necessary equipment, cleaning, restocking, inventory, organizing and preparing.
9. Operate Micros, process payments to include credit card, cash and room charges according to procedures.
10. Deliver and stage meal in guest’s rooms with all necessary items.
11. Mix and create cocktails according to recipes or guest’s requests.
12. Present physical and accurate checks to guests, processing payments correctly.
13. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
14. Anticipate and address guests’ service needs.
15. Assist Operator as needed, including answering phones, taking orders, upselling, follow up calls, amenities, VIP requests, logging all IRD information.
16. Pickup In Room Dining equipment around hotel, including tray and table pickup automatically.
17. Track and log tray and table pickups, track orders, track amenities.
18. Assist guests with any hotel related requests they and notify correct departments.
19. Bartending Butler service to guests, including creating drinks, cocktail preparation, garnishes, glassware, wine, liquor, beer, sake executed in guest’s area and rooms.
20. Comply with Food Safety laws and effective procedures.
21. Monitor expiration dates on products using “First In First Out” method, rotating all new products and keeping area organized and neat.
22. Complete closing side work duties, including restocking, deep cleaning, locking coolers.
23. Pickup tables, trays and all IRD equipment from rooms. Breakdown tables and trays in dish area, sorting all equipment.

Speak with others using clear and professional language. Avoid slang and excessive use of phrase-fragments. Maintain a gracious tone and be polite throughout all interactions with guests and other staff members.
Regular attendance in conformance with hotels standards is essential to the successful performance of this position.
Comply with hotel grooming standards for both uniformed and non-uniformed associates.
Comply with hotel service and behavioral standards towards our guests, vendors and fellow colleagues, including, but not limited to ensuring proper phone etiquette, courteous and respectful behavior and maintaining a friendly and positive attitude.
Perform all other duties as directed by management that are consistent with the policies and procedures of the hotel.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support your team to reach common goals.
