Sales Manager

We are looking for a forwarder with experience in airfreight import and export, to our office in Riga.

The job:

The Sales Manager shall be responsible for the company’s focus both on the identification and capture of new clients as well as maintenance of existing clients. You will be in daily contact with customers, suppliers and foreign partners. You will also perform administrative tasks such as invoicing and estimates. The person we are seeking must be able to work independently.

Responsibilities include (not exclusively):

• Identify and resolve client concerns.
• Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
• Conduct sales visits / customer and sales reports.
• Follow up new, potential & existing clients in all aspects.
• Sending offers/quote rates.
• Conduct marked reports and statistics.
• Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, andadherence to goals.

Other duties:

• Parallel to the assigned main tasks the position also includes a Back up function for colleagues in the case of absence due to sickness, leave, vacation etc.

Professional qualifications:

• Experience in air freight, - import and export.
• English, Latvian, Russian - written and spoken.
• Experience in sea freight or other freight forwarding SEA,  RAIL, TRUCKING, it is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Personal qualifications:

• Outgoing.
• Service minded.
• Autonomous.
• Structured and good sense of order and overview.
• Good mood.

Salary: 900-1500 eur (net) Actual salary depends on qualificatio.
