Senior AML Analyst

What will you do?

As a Senior AML Analyst, you will monitor and investigate suspicious financial activity in the Mintos marketplace. You will suggest strategies for efficient monitoring and prioritizing risks. You will be efficiently balancing your day-to-day workload, handle ad hoc projects and keep up-to-date on the latest industry trends.

You will:

• Proactively contribute to Mintos Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Terrorism Financing (CTF) compliance culture 
• Provide stakeholders with advice and guidance, based on AML/CTF laws and regulations 
• Participate in ideation, creation and implementation of AML processes and procedures in Mintos
• Work in an international environment, with customers from various jurisdictions
• Be part of a highly skilled team of professionals dedicated to preventing and fighting financial crime 
• Be at the source of the latest industry’s know-how, working efficiently with and having a deep understanding of compliance requirements
• Investigate and perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on existing, new and potential investors
• Carry out research and investigations of different complexity levels
• Communicate effectively and efficiently across channels to obtain needed information

What you will need to know/have:

• About 3-4 years of experience in the AML field, preferably in investigating suspicious activities.
• Ability to perform complex analysis and present the findings in a structured manner
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to explain complicated matters in an easy way
• Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation with the ability to work independently
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Hands-on mentality, willingness to take an active role in AML team and company.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• In-depth knowledge of AML regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Russian, German, Spanish or other European language can be a plus)

Compensation:

• Salary: € 2 120 - 3 116 per month gross, and numerous additional benefits.
