Senior Data Engineer | AI & DATA Team | Latvia

We're on the lookout for a Senior Data Engineer to join one of our dynamic and impactful projects. Our team delivers big cutting-edge data, AI/ML, and integration solutions for both internal and external clients. We also build and run our own cloud-based products, helping clients make the most out of their data.

• Integrate AI apps and processes into existing ecosystems (e.g. ERPs, data platforms, dashboards).
• Build scalable cloud solutions to process structured & unstructured data and write functions to send AI insights back.
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines for both batch and near real-time data processing and create automated data pipelines to ingest data from internal and external sources
• Support digital transformation for procurement processes with AI-enhanced workflows.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
• Implement best practices in data engineering: modular, scalable, reliable, and CI/CD ready.
• Plan and own engineering tasks.
• Mentor and support junior data engineers when needed.

• 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering.
• Strong expertise in data integration, warehousing, and cloud data platforms (Snowflake, AWS).
• Solid coding skills in Python, SQL, and Shell scripting.
• Familiarity with job orchestration (Apache Airflow is a plus!).
• Experience with building data pipelines, API integrations, databases, and file storages (using SQL, Python, Spark).
• Flexibility to work with teams across Eastern Time Zone.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Informatica for data governance and lineage.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and DataOps principles: CI/CD, Git, Terraform, Orchestration.
