Job Description

Join our team as a (Senior) Risk Manager, where you will establish and lead enterprise-wide risk management practices across our Program Management Organization, ensuring effective governance and successful program delivery. You will work closely with Program Managers, Engineering, Quality, and senior leadership to ensure risks are proactively managed throughout the product development lifecycle.

  • Develop and implement best practices for risk management across the organization in accordance with AS9100 requirements and industry standards.
  • Establish and lead risk review meetings supporting Program Managers and the Management Board.
  • Own and continuously improve the company's Risk Management process and governance.
  • Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to identify program risks, issues, opportunities (RIOs), and dependencies.
  • Define mitigation strategies and action plans while ensuring transparent follow-up of identified risks.
  • Lead initiatives that improve risk identification, documentation, reporting, and communication across the organization.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Risk Management across programs and projects.
  • Generate and maintain Risk Management Plans (RMPs) aligned with the company's PMO/PLM framework.
  • Support Program Managers during customer meetings, audits, and reviews, both locally and internationally.
  • Ensure organizational awareness of current program risks and facilitate timely escalation where required.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen risk management maturity across the business.
  • Foster collaboration between departments to ensure successful program execution and delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Risk Management, Program Management, Project Management, or Systems Engineering within aerospace, defense, aviation, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100 quality standards and risk management methodologies.
  • Experience supporting complex development or manufacturing programs.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional workshops and executive-level presentations.
  • Ability to influence teams and drive organizational improvements.
  • Willingness to travel when required.
  • English proficiency at CEFR B2 level or higher.
