Software Engineer

In this role, you will take ownership of one of our lending platforms — building features to improve quality of life for our users, hardening stability and security of our system and reshaping the architecture to be prepared for rapid expansion.

This is not a role for someone who simply ships tickets. We’re looking for a strong technical thinker who wants to understand what business and users needs and how to support the business growth. You will work closely with product, analytics, and business stakeholders to shape the system that is used by tens of thousands of users managing millions in loans.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Work end-to-end across product requirement scoping, system design, development, testing, rollout and monitoring
• Write clean, well-tested code that powers financial products real customers depend on
• Take responsibility for systems in production: monitor, debug, and improve, not just ship
• Work directly with product and business to turn real needs into solid technical solutions
• Contribute to technical direction in a small team where your judgment is visible and your decisions matter
• Uphold the engineering and compliance bar that operating in regulated fintech markets demands
• Continuously challenge existing solutions and identify smarter ways to structure and deliver systems that bring value for the business

• Willingness to show end-to-end ownership of features from design to production
• Prior practical knowledge or willingness to learn and adopt AI assisted engineering
• Strong practical experience with Java and Spring framework
• Solid SQL skills with confidence working on analytical queries
• Strong problem-solving mindset with curiosity to understand the business context behind technical work
• Excellent judgment and strong communication skills

• Exposure to fintech, lending, financial services, or high-volume transactional environments is a plus
