Superintendent (technologist)

Provide technical and technological solution, prepare all documentation for Field Service and Workshop activities. Lead technical execution of orders. Solve technical and operating problems for the customer as well as report and propose the product improvement needs in order to reach quality and cost targets and ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: • Make analysis with adequate conclusions and recommendations. Report the related work progress to relevant stakeholders. • Report and propose improvement needs of the products and solutions for relevant internal stakeholders. • Provide technical support to internal and external customers. • Visit sites when deeper product, system and/or performance analysis is needed. • Analyze field experience and customer feedback data in order to improve the products and solutions as well as operation and maintenance of the installation. • Ensure a professional level of project administration, resources planning, reporting, cost calculation and follow up. • Schedule activities and participate in technical discussions with the customer. • Give technical advice for own team and customers. • Perform device, product inspections. • Review jobs daily and ensure job specifications and technical documentation are met, details given to the service coordinator for distribution to the workers. • Ensure that all documents, designs, drawings etc for workers of the department satisfy the requirements. • Collect and organize time and expense reports. • Support travelling for FS workers: collection of information, tools, spares etc. • Provide clear information for suppliers about ordered parts, materials and details which satisfy the requirements.

• English and Russian in a good level.
• Technical problem solving and decision making.

• Workshop and Field Service process knowledge.
• Technical University or higher technical degree (marine education).
• Good knowledge of propulsion complex and preferably also knowledge of different engine types and their auxiliaries.
