IoT Lab has been established by the eponym European research project to develop a collaborative lab bringing together international experts in the IoT domain from the industry and research community. It has been headquartered in Geneva, at the Biotech Campus, next to the international organizations and global standards development organizations such as the ITU, ISO and IEC.
IoT Lab serves as an entry point and interface with the research and innovation community to address demands from companies and industry, including banks and insurances and cities, municipalities and public administrations.
Web Developer PHP Symfony
IoT Lab is leading European research projects and is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced web developer with strong programming skills in PHP, Symfony, WordPress, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, with demonstrated track record.
Applying your skillset, you will join a multinational and multidisciplinary research team. You will work with experts and researchers in the domains of Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Cybersecurity, Data Protection, and online testing tools.
Requirements
Essential:
- At least bachelor level in computer science or equivalent degree (BSc).
- Advanced level knowledge and experience with:
- PHP8, Symfony, WordPress.
- JavaScript, Angular.
- HTML5, CSS.
- Docker.
- MySQL/MariaDB.
- AI tools for web coding (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, etc.).
- Linux experience.
- Having developed at least three websites or applications with over 1’000 end-users.
- Fluent in English (minimum B2).
Desired:
- Strong interest in AI and innovative technologies.
- 3 years of relevant professional work experience.
