DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

As Development Director, you are going to be the driving force of the development focusing on the international growth of THE EMBASSIES. Your primary responsibility will be the sourcing, underwriting and closing of new operating agreements in THE EMBASSIES target markets. In your role as Development Director you are going to contribute to the success of THE EMBASSIES global expansion.
Requirements
- identify development opportunities
- prepare business plans for development opportunities
- prepare term sheets and letters of intent for development opportunities
- lead negotiations through all stages of the project until signing of the operating agreement
- manage internal support and external advice (e.g. legal /tax advisors, technical advisors etc.)
- for operating agreement negotiations
- negotiate all supporting documents of the operating agreement
- (architectural plans, construction specifications, interface list, etc.)
- prepare approval documents for THE EMBASSIES board
Requirements
- bachelor’s or master's degree in hospitality, real estate, architecture, law or finance
- minimum of seven years of experience in the real estate, consulting and/or hospitality business
- experience with refurbishments of luxury properties, experience with hotel and
- gastronomic projects
- highly developed analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines under pressure
- ability to distill meaning from data and to present information concisely
- curiosity and strong commitment to problem-solving and learning
- hungriness to have an impact and challenge the status quo
- fluency in English, German and preferably additional language
- highly organized and enjoying a flexible working environment
- high travel demand
