Since its foundation in 1996, BCCL has grown significantly. Currently our membership stands at over 100 British and Latvian companies covering a wide range of sectors including timber, insurance, transportation, food, construction, property development, law and accountancy.
The aim of BCCL is to foster bilateral trade between Britain and Latvia and encourage the development of good and fair business practice by offering advice, support and up to date information. The BCCL maintains a close working relationship with the British Embassy in Latvia, the Latvian Embassy in the UK, the LDA and UKT&I. Our Chamber also works with other organizations, including the FICIL, on areas of mutual interest.
We offer business contacts and general information on living and working in Latvia and the UK; organize programmes for visiting companies and hold business seminars as well as regular social events.
