Quality Assurance Analyst

UniqueX has a truly global reach, their products are used in 65 different countries around the world making us the leading digital cinema solution provider, with customers including the major Hollywood and independent film studios and the largest cinema operators in the world. If you’ve ever been to the cinema, chances are UniqueX helped put that movie on screen.UniqueX is a growing team spread across multiple global locations including offices in Manchester, Bergen and Vilnius. Recently they doubled the size of their client portfolio, including significant growth in the US, the biggest cinema market in the world. UniqueX needs several new key members of staff to facilitate this growth. They have a fun and vibrant office in the heart of Vilnius.

Responsibilities:

Smart Trailering Team is looking for a quality driven, forward thinking and creative QA specialist who will be responsible for quality standards and identified problems.

• Analyse defects
• Regression and exploratory testing
• Report, follow-up and re-test bugs and bug fixes
• Identify improvement possibilities in existing QA processes
• Suggest solutions to identified product problems
• Document and execute tests
• Responding to requests and queries from developers in a timely manner
• Participating in daily scrum calls and reporting relevant information on QA tasking to the development/production team
• Participating and fostering a close-knit & friendly atmosphere within the test team, working together to share ideas and suggestions, making efforts to involve others in test case creation and strategy.

Our client is looking for a talented QA professional with solid software testing experience, fluent in English with an analytic and product-oriented mindset. Ideally you will have managerial experience but that isn’t a deal breaker, if you are a great communicator with solid QA experience, we’d love to hear from you.

• Understanding of agile software development and test principles and processes

• Knowledge of testing best practice throughout the software development lifecycle, from unit test to UI test
